Born in Boston, Bruce Hicks served as a United States Marine before transitioning to the Boston Police Department in 2002. His commitment to public safety and his unwavering sense of duty led him to become a member of the Boston Police SWAT team in 2007. To this day, Bruce continues to serve the community of Boston as a dedicated SWAT officer.

It was during the brief breaks between intense SWAT training runs that the idea of 3SIDE Tactical was conceived. In those moments of physical exhaustion and mental fatigue, the team found solace in humor, creating inside jokes and funny moments that forged the unbreakable bonds of brotherhood. It is these bonds, formed by individuals willing to lay down their lives for one another and for the people they are sworn to protect, that inspired the essence of our brand.
